The first mode paints the chart when the score and the rules would have allowed an entry. No order goes out. You use it to see whether the reasons make sense on your symbols.

Same score and same rules as the live mode.
An arrow and a reason, no position.
You switch to sending only after you accept the log.

Marks are not trade alerts for other people, and they are not a performance record.
